As a Section Editor, I took on both creative and leadership responsibilities within The Flame team. I helped develop a consistent, theme-aligned design system through visual research, and designed the Athletics section for both volumes. I also co-designed the cover, front matter, and end matter with Cynthia Shi and Lauren Wu. Beyond design, I collaborated with writers, photographers, and editors, mentored new staff, and worked with fellow editors to shape the yearbook’s overall theme.

Volume VIII: A nostalgic 1970s diner theme with bold typography and retro color schemes.

Volume IX: A vinyl record theme featuring warm brown tones and subtle accents highlighting the school’s colors.
